This is a test site. It is up so Chris can see it working. The name is a working title, nothing is reviewed yet, and sign-up is not built: downloads are open to everyone for now and the sign-up form does nothing. No advertising, no tracking, no cookies.

About {{SITE_NAME}}

Working title. “{{SITE_NAME}}” is a placeholder while the site is being tested. The real name and address are not chosen yet.

A free library of resources for people who teach in the United Kingdom — nursery and early years, primary, secondary, and college and university. Everything is written for the adult planning the lesson, trip or sports day. Nothing on the site is addressed to a child.

What we are trying to do

Most of the admin around a sports day or a school trip is the same in every school, and every school does it from scratch. We write the version you would have written, have a real teacher check it, and give it away. Where a tool does the job better than a printable, we build the tool — and build it so that it runs on your own device and nothing you type leaves it.

Who pays for it

The Stitch Factory, which makes school uniform, printed house colour tees and children’s high-visibility vests. They pay for the site because a school that finds the sports day pack useful may also be the school that needs seventy house colour tees in March.

What that means in practice, so there is no doubt:

Our reviewers

No reviewers yet

Nothing on this test site has been reviewed. On the finished site, every resource carries the name of a real, serving or recently serving member of teaching staff who checked it, with their role, the phase they work in, and one sentence in their own words about what they checked.

A reviewer is asked to read it as if they were about to use it next week, check the phase and year groups, confirm or correct every claim about the curriculum or official guidance, check the language is British and never patronising, print it on a normal school printer in black and white, open the editable version in whatever their school uses, and say whether they are happy to be named. Any figure we have left marked “to confirm” is theirs to confirm, with the source.
