Privacy notice
Draft, not yet reviewed. This page has not been checked by anyone qualified to check it. It is a placeholder on a test site, it is not a legal notice, and it must not be relied on. Nothing on this test site collects any personal data, so there is nothing yet for a notice to govern.
What this test site collects
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no sign-in, no contact form, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. The two tools run entirely inside your browser: names you paste into them are never sent anywhere and are gone when you close the tab. Cloudflare, which serves the site, keeps its own standard server logs, as any web host does.
What the finished site would collect
With a free account: your name, an email address you can read, the name of your school, nursery or college, your role, who you teach, and a record of what you have downloaded and rated. Separately and only if you tick the boxes: consent to a monthly round-up email, and consent to occasional emails from suppliers we have chosen.
Why, and on what basis
Name and email run the account itself. School name, role and phase are used to understand which settings the resources reach and to market related school supplies — which is how the site is paid for. Download history drives recommendations and the “most downloaded” lists. The two email consents are consent, separately given, never bundled, and never a condition of downloading anything.
Who we would share it with
Nobody. A sponsor who pays for an email to the list buys the send; we send it, and the sponsor never receives your address.
How long we would keep it
While the account is in use. An account with no sign-in for 36 months would get a warning email and then be deleted. Marketing consent would be re-confirmed every 24 months. Deleting your account from your own account page would be immediate and would remove you from every mailing at the same time.
Your rights
Under United Kingdom data protection law you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our use of it for marketing, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. The finished site will name a contact address for this. This draft does not, because there is nothing held.
