Heats and Lanes Sheets

Paste your class or year group list in, get heat sheets with lane numbers, a marshal’s master sheet and blank result slips out.

Who it is for

• Primary
• Secondary

Suits any setting running timed track events in lanes. Early years sports days do not usually run heats, so there is a simpler one-page version in the planning pack instead.

Open the heats and lanes generator

What is inside

• The heats and lanes generator — type or paste names, choose two to eight lanes, name your events and your houses, and print.
• Heat sheets per event, one line per child, with the lane number already filled in.
• A marshal’s master sheet listing every heat in order for the person at the start line.
• Blank result slips, two to a page, to run back to the scorer.
• A printable blank version for a setting that would rather fill it in by hand.

When you would use it

Run the generator the afternoon before, print one copy per marshal, and keep the master sheet at the start line.
